RULEBREAK
In development · Android first

Break exactly one rule.

A sharp eye. A little nerve. One tile that doesn’t quite fit. Explore a colourful cosmic arcade where spotting the exception is only the beginning.

Rulebreak is being developed for mobile. No public download is available from this site yet.

Privacy policy · 16 October 2026

Your game. Your information.

Rulebreak is published by QUOD-Tech Ltd. KazCreative is its creative arm. This policy covers this information website and Rulebreak’s current development and test apps. Rulebreak is not yet publicly released on Google Play. Live advertising, public paid products and an operating public purchase-account service are not enabled. We will update this policy before those services become available.

What stays on your device

Rulebreak saves your chosen Rule Breaker, sound and motion settings, selected levels, answers, stars and unlocked stages, lives and recharge times, powers and interrupted runs on your device. Android also keeps an on-device recovery copy of the game’s own save data. These are device saves, not a publisher cloud-save account. Core puzzles, artwork and music are bundled for offline play.

The age screen offers age groups and “Prefer not to say”. It stores a broad child, teen, adult or unknown category and whether you answered. It does not ask for a date of birth. Your choice is not verified identity or parental consent.

Android’s backup system may retain or restore game data according to your device and Google-account settings. Removing the app’s local data does not necessarily remove a platform backup. The app excludes its protected purchase credentials from its configured Android backup rules; this is separate from ordinary game saves.

Age safeguards and optional test ads

The intended game audience is ages 9 and over, including adults. Children, teens and players whose age is unknown keep the same core game, practice and free life recharge. The current app blocks new game-initiated advertising, advertising-consent requests and paid checkout for those categories. Please do not choose a false adult age to obtain assistance.

Some development builds offer adults optional Google test ads. They require a separate choice to allow ad requests and the applicable Google privacy flow. A rewarded ad grants a life only after a confirmed earned reward. No ad or purchase is required for practice or free life recharge. We do not present test ads as a live advertising service.

Where an adult enables these test services, Google’s advertising and consent SDKs can process internet address and approximate location, device/app identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostics. Test creatives and removal of the advertising-ID permission do not mean that no data reaches Google. Changing the age choice prevents new game-initiated requests; it is not a promise that a previously initialised third-party SDK instantly erases records or stops all background activity. Google’s privacy policy explains its processing and controls.

Purchases and accounts

The code includes Google Play Billing and a purchase-delivery system, but current public purchase services are not operational. There is no public Rulebreak purchase account to create or automatically delete on this website. These current test configurations do not offer public purchases or online purchase-account recovery.

Before enabling purchases, we will identify the actual service operator, hosting and retention arrangements and update this policy. Google Play would handle payment details. The proposed Rulebreak service uses pseudonymous account and purchase references, delivery and refund records and protected credentials; it is separate from gameplay saves. No purchase tokens, recovery codes or card details should be emailed to support.

This website and support messages

This site is hosted with Carrd. Carrd and its delivery providers receive the technical requests needed to serve and protect a web page, including an internet address and browser/request information. Their processing is distinct from your app’s device saves. See Carrd’s privacy policy. This site has no game login, payment checkout or contact form. We have not added advertising pixels, visitor analytics, external video players or remote fonts to its content. The delivery provider Cloudflare sets a __cf_bm security cookie for bot protection and provides an email-address protection script. See Cloudflare’s cookie information. These website delivery features are separate from game saves and optional in-app advertising.

If you email [email protected], QUOD-Tech receives your reply address, message and anything you choose to attach. This information is used to handle your enquiry or data request. Send only what is needed. A cropped screenshot, app version and short description are usually more useful than a full device log. The website’s email links do not automatically send a message or attach game data.

Retention and your choices

Local saves remain while held by your device or its backup system. Support messages may remain in company email systems and their backups. We have not established a Rulebreak-specific automatic deletion service or published retention period. Carrd, Google and email providers manage their own service records under their applicable policies. A request to Rulebreak does not erase records held independently by those providers or initiate a store refund. Your legal rights are not limited by these instructions.

You can ask about access, correction or deletion of information QUOD-Tech actually holds, and raise a privacy concern, using the data-request instructions below. We may need proportionate verification before acting. Depending on your location, other data rights may apply and you may contact your relevant data-protection authority, such as the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Questions about this policy: [email protected]. This published page does not certify Google Play Data safety, age declarations or the readiness of a future monetised release.

Data requests

Ask about or delete your information.

For information QUOD-Tech actually holds about you, email [email protected] with the subject Rulebreak privacy/data request. Say whether you want access, correction or deletion, and briefly describe the information or earlier support conversation concerned. Include a reply address. A parent or guardian can contact us for a younger player.

Never email passwords, recovery codes, card details or raw purchase tokens. This is a manual request route, not an automatic deletion tool. We will explain any verification or limits that apply to your request. These instructions do not limit your legal rights.

Device saves

Rulebreak cannot remotely erase an offline save. Android Settings → Apps → Rulebreak → Storage provides local data controls; browser site-data settings do the same for the web version. Names vary by device. Removing data can permanently lose progress, lives and powers. Check your Android/Google backup settings separately, since a backup may retain or restore a copy. Do not remove data simply to contact support.

Support messages

Identify the email conversation you want reviewed. QUOD-Tech can assess removal of correspondence it holds, subject to necessary verification and any applicable retention obligations. No automatic deletion schedule or blanket backup-erasure promise is in place.

Purchase accounts

A public Rulebreak purchase-account service is not currently operating. We are not claiming that an implemented development deletion function is a live service. A working in-app and external account-deletion process must be verified and this page updated before public recoverable purchase accounts are enabled.

Google and other providers

Use the relevant provider’s privacy and account controls for information it holds independently. Emailing Rulebreak does not delete Google Play, advertising, Android backup or email-provider records, and is not a purchase refund request to Google.

About Rulebreak & credits

Rulebreak is published by QUOD-Tech Ltd. KazCreative is its creative arm. Original puzzle design, cosmic vector artwork, arcade mechanisms, writing and musical arrangements are created for Rulebreak.

This website uses original, code-drawn Rulebreak illustrations. Its artwork is decorative rather than a playable game screen. No reference-game artwork, stock space photographs, generated character portraits or autoplay music are used here.

The game’s fifteen-track Modern Arcade soundtrack combines original Rulebreak compositions and programmed arrangements with recorded guitar, bass and drum ingredients. The music is credited below; the website does not play or download the tracks.
